I've never played them but I was wondering if any1 would know if one is better than the other....and...stuff like that. Nintendo or PS version?

Well, as Beast Wars games go, I once rented this fighting game on PS1 called Beast Wars Transmentals a long time ago, but unfortunately I haven't been to find it since then.

If you mean the fighting game they are both pretty similar. It really boils down to your console of preference and prices.



There is also a Beast Wars action game for the playstation I do believe.

I found descriptions of both the games but it didn't specify it it was just a fighting game or if it had a story-line or not ^^;

These games, have a story line of sorts, I suppose. It takes place in an alternative timeline where both Terrorsaur and Waspy are transmetal, if you beat the various fights you get a short bit about what happens after that combatant wins.


These next games are just called Beast Wars and are first person shooters.

These have some sort of story but I can't promise how good. Like the Fighting games above they are the same game but on different consoles this time Playstaion and PC. The urls above should at least give you a clue as to what they are about. Though how good of one is anyone's guess.

Kinda like Mortal combat and a really weird version of Halo (first person shooter bit) ...or I could say Call of Duty ^^;

I played the N64 one eons ago and it was meh. I play alot of fighting games and it was ok.

The cool thing was that Terrasaur and Waspinator were also in transmetal form based off their toys that were released at that time.

If I remember correctly, I got pretty good with Tarantulus, lol

Well, the Beast Wars Transmetal game I played on PS1 was a fighting game, but it also had a story mode, where you play as either Maximals or Predacons.

But the only playable characters for the Maximal side were Optimus, Cheetor, Rattrap, and Sliverbolt and for the Predacon side the playable characters were Megatron, Tarantulas, Rampage, and Quickstrike.

Yeah, the N64 version and the PS1 version had different characters in each game. In PS1 they had Silverbolt, Rampage, and Quickstrike.

In the N64 version, the version i played they had Terrasaur, Waspinator, and Airazor.

So there were actual differences between these two games. I never knew that till now!

I think youtube has some clips for those games. The graffics are kind of wonky.

Better yet a Transformers Universe game(G1 Optimus vs Optimus Primal=win )

Or a BW roleplay game ^^ like you choose a character and just go around and do whatever like a story mode or just random missions like the Naruto game =P
