Buy 10th Anniversary Beast Wars toys and support BWInt!

Far be it from me to be the money-plugging type. But, considering that the site struggles each year to get enough donations to keep it running, I thought of setting up shop somehow. Well, I stumbled across something that could work very well for the site, and that wouldn't mean it'd be littered with flashing banner advertisements (I HATE those!)

As many of you will know, to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Beast Wars, a wave of 6 re-released Beast Wars figures is being put on sale for January next year. I know by the polls held a few weeks back that many people are considering buying them. Well, if you DO want to buy them, there's a way you can do so AND contribute to keeping the site going.

Basically, I have signed up for an affiliate program with Entertainment Earth whereby any sales they make through a link on my site, the site gets commission for it. So if you buy the first wave of Beast Wars toys from the link on Bwint's new shop page (to be properly announced this coming update) you will be financially supporting Beast Wars International. Methinks this system will work better than asking straight for money in the form of donations.

I'd really appreciate it if interested buyers could support this program. It might mean that you pay a few more dollars than you *possibly* could at amazon or ebay, assuming you can find them there. Entertainment Earth already has the toys up for pre-order. I personally am not making money from this - the money's not even being sent to my address. Miss Special is handling the finances on this. Whatever money we make will go into keeping the site running.

The shop is here: http://www.bwint.net/shop.htm

Thanks for your time.

Sorry, Sapph, but I caved. The 10th anniversary toys are ALL OVER the place now and EE still didn't have them in stock, so I bought them a few days ago. Don't worry though, I'll make a "normal" contribution to the site when there's a Transformer lull in late spring.

Come oooonnnnn, paycheck!

Sorry about the wait, Sapph; though I do still intend to buy them through the site store. Money's still pretty tight (despite the bigger pay for working during Boxing Week), but once I'm sure I can squeeze in the bucks, I should be able to place an order someday.

We did at one stage but hardly anyone bought any. I HAVE been thinking about starting it up again using this t-shirt service I found on the net. If there's enough interest, I'll definitely look into it. :)

Shirts!

I think the idea of having shirts is better, also have you thought about having caps? I`d ratther buy one of those either t-shirt or cap. (I'm still unable to make my avatar appear!!)

We're actually working on that, but it's going to be awhile yet.

As for the avatar, are you linking it from a website or your computer? If it's from your computer, it won't work. And some sites don't support direct image linking.

not sure what the rules are for advertising other sites... but Remys site is prety much "THE" site for high quality pictures of Transformers, - his galleries for 10th Anni Megs and Primal are up for viewing... Just follow the watermark on the images below.

The pictures aren't showing up for me, but it might just be the office computer's lousy net connection. And if you're posting pics of something we're trying to sell, then that's ok. People can have a better look at what they're buying. But otherwise, the advertisment of other sites is limited to the "Cool Links" section.

On a side note, Cheetor and Unvereitletmann, the Bwint Shop with hats, mugs, t-shirts etc. is now up at www.cafepress.com/bwinternational - if you're still willing to help support the site.

Hey, as much as I'd love to help you out, I don't like buying things in set. If I could get Rattrap and Dinobot seperately it would be great.

I would buy them but I don't have the money. All I could afford to purchase was the Dinobot one and I got it from another site. If I get the money I'll probably buy the rest from here. ^^

Same for me as it is for Sinead. I got a DB toy from someone as one of those "no-reason" gifts. I'll see what I can do. I may not have much money, but I will help out if I can! (cyberhugs to you sapph!)
