The Intergalactic Highway

Sonar rolled his eyes, he didn't know why he was going to do this but that was his ship, even though it was in smothering peices he still had to defend it.
"Beast mode." With that he headed for the battle field where Steelclaw was heading.
And when he arrived and saw Cheetor and smiled.
"Sonar! Terrorize!" Sonar commanded then went into his robot mode and fired a sonic blast toward Cheetor.

(Righty O, better wait for Vena or she might get cranky.)


Glowstick watched as the madness unfolded, he saw Starshadow show up with Icebreaker starting his attack towards her, he then saw Icebreaker mysteriously fall as his line snapped. Your kidding..it can't be.. that bear cut the line with his sniper rifle?! I'd better be careful about him.. Glowstick thought to himself.

He then noticed the slow large yellow shots as they flew past him, then followed up with Sonar seeming to come in for a close attack on Cheetor.

Glowstick's optic twitched in frustration watching the battle, had it just been long range sniping it would of been fine. the Maximals wouldn't have cover and simply scatter in fear while being easy pickings, but now with close range fighters it limited the snipers with the possibilities of accidental hits on allies, crushing part of the advantage OF the snipers.

To make matters worse, from his past encounters he knew Orcariner and Icebreaker were experts in close to mid range combat. Glowstick simply sighed turning on his com mic My easy sniping moment destroyed so swiftly.. Commencing Jamming, Sonar stay away from the giant whale.

Steelclaw, focus on the bird and whale, the bird is the commanding unit, the Whale specializes in long range scanners but is mostly a close combat specialist with spray and pray weapons. He'll probably be protecting her, if you can't take him down clean, aim for the leg joints.

Starshadow, do not engage the icebird in close combat. Head into the woods for cover.

After barking those orders, Glowstick turned shifted to the maximal channels, rather loud static noise aired over their communicators.

Icebreaker blinked surprised as the line snapped on his gun, still with a large amount of momentum he slammed into the cliff side. Ow.. he then shook off the pain climbing up the cliff standing infront of StarShadow. He holstered his gun at his hip as his shield shifted to cover his back and head, he then drew a rather large combat knife Tango huh? Ballroom or Argentine style?! he said while rushing towards her swinging the giant knife in a horizontal arc.

Starshadow, do not engage the icebird in close combat. Head into the woods for cover.

Starshadow quickly jumped to the rocky walls to dodge the knife's blade and climbed up."HEY!! IF I CAN HANDLE THE GENERAL, I CAN HANDLE THE FEATHER-FACE!!" The feline shouted to the squid. She hated to be branded as "Little Miss I-can't-cope-with-anything" like she used to be in the past.

As she turned to Icebreaker, she pounced on him and smacked away his combat knife with her tail.
"I would prefer ballroom." she purred at the side of his face and push him away.

Sonar stay away from the giant whale.

Sonar didn't have a death wish, he wasn't even planning on fighting the big oaf any way. The squid could have him.

"HEY!! IF I CAN HANDLE THE GENERAL, I CAN HANDLE THE FEATHER-FACE!!"

I very much doubt that, rookie. Sonar thought rolling his eyes.

"I would prefer ballroom."

"Starshadow quit flirting with the enemy! What kind of Predicon are you?! This is war!!" Sonar snarled trying to locate Cheetor.

On that note, it is conceivable, since she hasn't posted since Glowstick fired at her, that Valkyrie wasn't even hit by his laser [one of her strengths is air maneuverability enhanced with amazing calculation speed, so if Venatrix simply wants Valkyrie to have dodged it, she might still do that]. ))

Sonar was getting on Starshadow's nerves. Out of anger, she pulled out her gun and fired at the bat multiple times.
"JUST KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT AND EAT YOUR SLAG, BAT FACE!!" she shouted at him and kept her gun. Her agressive self had just made a mistake but she knew she could not control her emotions.

"Have to calm down...calm down..." she told herself.

(OOC: Since everyone is waiting for Venatrix to post, I guess I will too and divert Orcariner's attention elsewhere)

Orcariner's attention was diverted elsewhere as shots rang around him. The team leader seemed to hold her own in the air, and so the Maximal chose to help his terrain-based comrades.

"Blast," he muttered, looking at Sonar, "Another flier."

Seeing Cheetor hold his own against the bat-like Predacon, Orcariner rushed towards Icebreaker. He was in the middle of wrestling with Starshadow, but a swift kick in the kitten's face should free him. Before the giant could even rush the hill, a ballistic round slammed itself into his left knee. Feeling his leg give away, Orcariner quickly held out his left arm to the ground to prevent himself from tumbling over.

"Primus, where did that come from?" he asked.

Grimacing from the hit, the Maximal inspected his wound. The bullet was too deep to pull out but at least his knee was still functional. Orcariner recalled the late Ice Sight inflicting similar wounds into the Predacons they had faced. The memory helped him conclude what his attacker was: a sniper. With a big target like him, the hidden Predacon would have a field day with his lumbering body.

"It's going to be fun times in the CR Chamber tonight."

Unsheathing his left blade, Orcariner held the flat side up to protect his face in the direction of the projectile's trajectory. The sniper can shoot all he wants, but as long as none of the bullets strike him in the head, the Maximal should live to fight another day. He would be pretty damaged, but at least he'll still be alive.

Can't say the same about the kitty, he thought, standing up and marching back up the hill.

Icebreaker blinked, being pounced by the smaller cybertronian and then pushed away. Getting up he looked at her as she shot at her own comrade with a pale expression Calm down? I think I can help you chill. he then performed a quick draw of his frost launcher sending a large snowball at Starshadow. So corny and yet so hard to resist..

Glowstick sighed listening to Starshadow on the radio Thats all well and good, but the idea was more to.. you know, split up the maximals so they don't double team you or Sonar.. like Orcariner seems to be about to.. Nevermind. he then stated as he saw the giant snowball fired at StarShadow. He knew he had to distract Orcariner, but methods to do it were not exactly something he'd like.

Glowstick's tentacles shifted as he aimed on Orcariner's back, then fired off a focused laser shot.Even if my aim is off.. a target that large.. is hard to miss! he then thought to himself.

Starshadow took the blow and was under the snow. She slowly got up with boiling rage inside her even the cold snow could'nt cool her temper.

Her scarlet red optics glowed so bright that it could be used as flashlights with hot pink smoke coming out of her mouth and the spikes of her tail extended to a length of long daggers. Starshadow let out a loud roar and started firing large plasma balls everywhere out of her mouth without knowing or caring that her attacks would harm her comrades.

Icebreaker sprung back as his shield slid over his left side, he landed in a crouch as one of the plasma shots hit the shield. He then pulled the lever on his gun switching it to missile mode the Joke wasn't THAT bad..

a Battle mask slid from the sides of his helmet over his face, he then leaned out from behind the shield firing off a micro missile at StarShadow's feet, letting the concussive force of the explosive and shrapnel do their thing on the smaller Predacon.

Starshadow jumped on the cliff walls to avoid the missle. She knew her rage was taking too much of her energy as she felt her claws loosening her grip on the small rocks.
She panted as she climbed up to the top of the mountain. I have a pretty nice plan to get rid of the penguin... she thought with a smirk.

Icebreaker watched slightly annoyed that the Predacon was now climbing higher. He then leveled his gun aimmed slightly above her, if there was one thing he knew about rock climbing, it was how dangerous it could be. He then fired off two micro missiles towards the mountain walls causing them to explode and shake the rock surface she was climbing free.

Orcariner saw an explosion erupt above him. The side of the mountain was beginning to crumble and if his predictions were correct, that meant Starshadow was going to topple on top of him.

"Great," he mumbled, "More injuries for the CR Chamber to fix. Oh well, might as well get ready for it."

He unsheathed the blade in his right arm and raised it to his chest level. If the cat was going to fall onto him, he might as well make her injuries worse than his.

Starshadow hissed and leaped to the side of the wall. As she reached to the top of the mountain, she pulled out her gun and shot the large rocks below her to create a land slide. In addition to her attack she sent out her long spikes down and heated it with a stream of plasma beam along with the falling rocks.

The feline just laughed like a lunatic after what she did.

Icebreaker simply jumped back while shifting his gun to frost mode, running backwards he then started to fire a large wide white beam at the burning landslide, letting thermal dynamics cause the larger rocks to explode. He continued firing as the landslide froze not bothered by the blades as she destroyed them in midair anyway, then stopped dropping to one knee.

Ug.. Eating my energy.. Divert power from break shield to Frost launcher.. his computer then responded with "acknowledged", Icebreaker pulled the empty magazine from his gun loading 4 more micro missiles while standing up. Looks like it's all or nothing..
