My predictions for Transformers Prime, Optimus is going to die toward the end of Season one, most likely by Megatron's hand. Then like all his reincarnation over the years, he will return some time in season two.

I don't know about that, NH.

The writers keep making a point that dead characters stay dead so I don't think we will be seeing that anytime soon.

Well Megatron already had his dead and resurrection plot (he dies nearly as much as Prime does lol). I wouldn't put it past the writers to do the same with Optimus in the future. Then again, I feel that Prime isn't a lead character anymore. He's the guy everyone already knows and he doesn't even have a lot of screen time.

That dark Energon crystal he plunged into his spark before he died kept him alive barely. He was just in a coma, not techincally dead.

Okay, I watched the latest episode and OMG!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WAS EPIC!!!!

I love it when Optimus gets mad. XD

And poor Raf. =(

The last episode Ratchet was high on angel dust. And in episode 23 Megatron has once again been eating mushrooms. XD

Good god, Optimus pretty much went TF3 on Megatron's purple and silver butt... it was awesome!!!!

Is it bad that I love it when Optimus gets mad or angry?

Really, there was some development in Optimus' character in that episode and I love how they handled it. Also, loved how he warned those Vehicons to move and be spared. Love the warning. Movie Optimus doesn't do that.

"Optimus, want to see something funny?"

"No."

So I just did some catching up and watched the last 3 episodes on Youtube.

- The re-telling of Orion Pax's history with Megatronus was amazing. The illustrations seemed to better tie the Prime series in with the War for Cybertron game (which is good considering they're part of the same continuity).

- Megatron and Optimus make good combat partners. It almost seemed like everyone else was a liability since the dynamic duo was on a far different level in terms of firepower and skill.

- It was an interesting take on Unicron, but I dig it.

- The amnesia twist was actually pretty cool, even though many suspect that Optimus is faking it.

- Soundwave is a BEAST! He doesn't have a lot of combat sequences in this show, but when he does choose to fight, you can't help but smile at his awesomeness. I'm so glad he humbled Airachnid.

That was awesome!!!!!

That twist in the end was something no one has done before. Haha! I can't wait to see how they play this out.

I finally saw the second season premiere.

This is a really interesting story line- I like seeing the Autobots working on without Optimus. It's kinda like the beginning of Beast Wars season two, only with everyone getting just a little bit angrier with one another.

And Arcee is a bad dude. I had to re-watch it to make sure I was seeing it right, but after she blasted the last Vehicon four or five times, she totally just let him stand there in smouldering shock.



Which means Soundwave gets extra credit for getting rid of her so understatedly. Those two need to fight it out for real some time.

I was skeptical of the new Soundwave at first, hated how he never speaks with his trademark "As you command Megatron" or "Operation: Annihilation" manner of speech, and his VERY different design from his original self (still think they could have given him a stronger resemblance to his old self), BUT, I cannot deny the fact that Soundwave possesses some AMAZING skills this time around. When everyone else on the Nemesis stood idly by and were gonna let Airachnid take control (darn Blackarachnia wannabe), Soundwave stood up to bat and PWNED HER COMPLETELY. I'm amazed Soundwave isn't Megatron's 2nd in command instead of Screamer or Airachnid, though I guess he can better serve Megatron by keeping to the shadows and keeping a low profile...Airachnid certainly had no clue as to how skilled and powerful he really was

I agree it was EPIC how Soundwave removed Arcee from his Lord's ship without actually having to fight her, who'd have thought he could generate his own bridge portals?


Oh, and leave it to Starscream to return just in the nick of time to TOTALLY RUIN Megatron's carefully constructed web of deceptions around Optimus without actually planning to do so
