To The Health of the Company

Unread post by Nurann »

Hey all! Looks like we've all drifted apart over the years. If anyone's still around to read this, post at least one last update on where you all ended up in life?

My first kid, Alanna, is now a precocious 3.5 year old who tries to make friends with everyone. I gave her an old Rhinox toy that she adores. Tried to get her to watch BW earlier this year but Megatron in the opening credits scared her too much! Maybe next year... She has a 1 year old sister, Emelia, that follows her everywhere. Both girls are healthy and keeping me busy. I get to work from home most days in an office adjacent to my back yard garden. The Saskatoon berries have just finished ripening and the raspberries are just starting to turn red. Soon we'll have more apples than we know what to do with - again!

If anyone's ever passing through central Alberta, drop me a line at my good old reliable nurannoniel@yahoo.com email and I'll take you for coffee (or a good craft beer. We have good craft beer around here lol). 'Cause as the song I referenced in my title goes...

"Let us drink and be merry, all grief to refrain, for we may and might never all meet here again."

I was just thinking about this place a few months ago. I got my account back up and going but then got distracted with other things in life. But! I remembered it tonight again, and it is quite a nostalgia trip.

It's wonderful to see you have prospered in life, Nurann, and I hope anyone else seeing this has just as well. For me, I've lived both a calm and hectic life since I last was a regular here. I've mostly worked in graphic and web design with a short stint in software QA and I am currently looking to move on from my current job and move to somewhere other than central Wisconsin (possibly Minnesota) in the next year or so. I've been having rumblings about this before 2010 came around, but I discovered I was trans and I have been taking steps (finally) to discover this hidden version of myself.

I'll send you a quick email from my gmail account Nurann (optimusprime350@gmail). Any other friendly faces are welcome to an email my way as well.
Yup. This is the area where one generally puts their signature....
