Okay, I know it's a year away, but there's already some Beast Wars related AA news for next year

David Kaye (voice of Megatron, Noble, and various TFA characters) is the first known guest for the convention

It's held on 12th-14th August 2011 in Birmingham England

So if you lot want to meet Mr Kaye, and be in a relaxed environment where you can even go to the bars/pubs with him then book your place!!! you can book here: http://www.autoassembly.org.uk/ the site hasn't been updated since before last weekend, but I think you can still book your place

PS Mods, is it okay if we just keep this thread for AA2011, even if it is inactive for a couple months at a time, just so all the info is left in one place?

I am definitely considering AA next year and will be saving as much of my monies as I can... starting last week. And if Garry is officially invited and can go again, I might have more plans in store with him and I. We'll see. Not to mention all of my friends who helped me out with my artwork who I owe big, big hugs, so I MUST meet them.

I agree with Nurann. In fact, I'll sticky this so we don't lose it and forget about it a year from now.

Sounds like heaps of fun! If I had the means to travel to Europe, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Hopefully one day I'll be able to head out there, but in the interim, I'll be content with oogling at the photos of those who'll have gone.

They've also said that once they reach 250 pre-registrants they'll upload the 2010 AA Script Read, which was a Beast Era set story

Most people who attend AA are older than it (I'm 24 and I'm one of the younger attendees!)

New updates,

Andrew Wildman of Marvel fame is now confirmed as a guest
Nick Roche of IDW awesomeness is also confirmed now
and one of the special panels has been announced too, Simon Furman, Simon Williams, Jason Cardy and Kat Nicholson and possibly Geoff Senior are all taking part in a Death's Head panel

Also it's been announced that a 2012 exclusive will be a special A2 sized Lithograph that will be only given to those staying at the Hilton Hotel (where the con is in 2012) so it will be a very rare piece of art work
