While I'm slowly progressing on my Tigatron and Airazor commission, I thought I'd take a quick break and attempt my first fanart drawing from Reboot. Of course Slash had to be the first because he was one of Garry's favorite roles. XD Hack will be next. And somewhere down the line will be Megabyte. At any rate, I will eventually make a colored copy of this since I'd like to expand my coloring skills in Photoshop. But I will never ignore my pencil art.
Slash is not mine; he belongs to Mainframe and Garry. XD
Thank you, Jagna! You've never seen Reboot? XD I liked it. Some people hated the show, but I enjoyed it. You'd hear some very familiar voices on it. It's from the same people who created Beast Wars, so it was all CGI; also like War Planets (Shadow Raiders).
I started taking art in high school, which is when I began to realize how easily shading with pencil came to me because before then I already knew I could draw. But for college, I went in a different direction and graduated with a Digital Art degree. I must say that I love drawing and painting more than doing anything electronically. XD But I still love Photoshop.

Awe, thank you, Jagna. But I wouldn't know nearly as much about Photoshop if I hadn't gone to college and was trained with it. I still don't know everything about it but it's enough to keep me entertained and make some nice sigs and avatars here and there. I've been seen some really neat stuff from other people who really know what they're doing with Photoshop or any other software like that.
For my Meggy painting, I used acrylic paint. I did the same with the Primal painting I gave to Garry. However, the next one I do I want to try oils since I hear they're better with blending, and when you draw or paint Beast Wars, there's a lot of blending. XD
cool...oils would be especially good for textures
its funny you should say that actually, coz im doing a sort of rough draft oil painting for one of my fic characters...im going to need a lot more black n white!

Awesome, Jagna! I'd love to see it when it's finished!
Black and white are two colors I often run out of as well. I was told, though, that when mixing colors, you don't want to use black. You should use a brown. I say, bah!
Quite impressive, I think that you're really gifted about drawing matters Primal. I remember that guy in Reebot. He was some kind of clumsy assitant didn't he? He aided Megabyte (a guy with a strange resemblance in attitude as well as name to Megatron). Well I'll be hanging around waiting for more of your posts since they are awesome. Keep up the work!
Unvereitletmann. Never defeated is the invincible warrior. At service to death.
Thank you so much, Unvereit'! You should scroll down this forum and take a gander at my BW fanart, or check out my gallery at dA, because I think my BW art is better than my Reboot right now. *shrugs*
You're correct with Slash being one of Megabyte's clumsy minions. Hack was the other, the red twin of Slash. As much as I like Megabyte, I think I like Megatron more, but that's probably just because I like BW more in general. LoL
